Happy 4 1/2 birthday Alex!

Today we celebrated Alex's birthday.  He is special because he was born on February 29th, a leap year!! Even though Alex is 18 years old today, he has only had 4 actual birthdays!!

Telemiracle Fundraiser ~ Taco in a Bag

On Friday, February 21st the Coronach Kinettes will be hosting a Telemiracle fundraiser.  There will be a Taco in a Bag lunch, a Toonie Toss in the gym, and a Bake Sale!!

More information has been sent home in a note, which contains an order form.  Please return the order form and money to school by FEBRUARY 13th.

Valentine's Day

On Friday, February 14th we will celebrate Valentine's Day in our classroom.  

If students plan on bringing Valentine's Day cards or treats, they MUST bring one for each person in the class.

100th Day of School

A reminder that Monday, February 10th is our 100th Day of School celebration!  We will be dressing up as 100 year old people AND bringing 100 things for snack.  We will do many other things to celebrate our 100th day, so stay tuned to our blogs.

Reading Prize!

Today Mrs. Hiltz made a random draw in our class for a Reading prize.  Ayden was reading "Beauty and the Beast" and was awarded a Minimart gift certificate! Thank you to John and Wendy Terry for their donation!

 We have been ceaping track of the days of school.  We have been in school for 95 days.

February Book Orders

The February edition of Scholastic Book Orders will come home today.  I would like to have all orders returned to school by Thursday, February 6th.  We are hoping to send them away that day and then receive them before Valentine's Day.
