In honor of the Coronach School graduation ceremonies this weekend, we blogged about what we will do when we are all done school.

Spirit Week (May 4th - 8th)

Next week the SRC is hosting a Spirit Week.  Each day will be a different theme and we are asking students to dress up!

Monday—Pajama Day

Tuesday—Jersey Day—Wear any type of jersey

Wednesday—Hat Day

Thursday—Twin Day—Dress the same as someone else

Friday—Blue and Green Day—Our school colors

Also, the SRC will be hosting a “Lip Sync Battle” at noon on Friday, June 12^th.  This is a voluntary, fun contest in which our students can participate.  The rules of the “Lip Sync Battle” are: teams chose an appropriate song (or portion of a song) to create a dance, airband, performance to with just moving their lips in time with the music and lyrics. We ask them to sign up in the office if they are interested.

'Tis The Season

As happy as we are about Spring, it comes with some guests.

Please start to do a daily check of your child for woodticks.  I had heard many reports of them on the weekend, and I have already pulled 2 off of kids in the last 10 minutes.

And if you have heard that loose teeth freak me out, woodticks are worse!

Today the May catalogs for Scholastic are coming home with your child.  If you are interested in ordering anything, please return the order forms and a cheque by Tuesday, April 21st.
