Well we survived the first day back! Much of the day was spent unpacking, organizing and learning the general routines of the classroom. The Grade 2 class was a wonderful help today, and will be great role models for the Grade 1 class. The Grade 1 class had a busy day, learning all the new things about our room.
Each day your child should bring home a Morning Message. This is a "map" of our day, and we use it as a way to learn about reading, writing, etc. I encourage you to read the message over with your child, and ask questions about the day. There is also an activity on the back that we complete each day.
