The Sense of Taste


Today we explored our sense of taste.  We looked at the "taste zones" on our tongue and then started tasting.  Sour was first, using a lemon, followed by some sweet Skittles.  We tried a few salty pretzels, and finished with a cup of bitter coffee.

Some loved the lemons!

Whoa that is awful!


Everyone loved the sweet taste of Skittles!

We all loved salty pretzels too!

Coffee to finish wash it all down!
Coffee ~ we liked the smell of coffee
better than the taste.
