Liquids and Solids

As we continue to study liquids and solids we have started to look at the process of melting.  This discussion centered around Olaf, the snowman from the movie Frozen.  Olaf is VERY excited for summer to arrive and can't wait to sit in the hot sand, have picnics on warm days, etc.  We studied his theory and plan for summer, then wrote him a letter stating our worry and concern.  We also did a guided drawing activity, and used our best listening skills to draw (then paint) a snowman.  To hear Olaf's summer plans, click here:  Olaf in Summer
